1. About these terms
These terms apply to this website, run by RightStep Group [PENDIENTE: full legal name], based in Texas. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
How we handle your personal information is explained in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. Using the website
You may browse the website and contact us through it for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- use it in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others;
- try to access parts of the website or its systems that are not public, or interfere with how it works;
- send spam, automated messages or false information through the contact form;
- copy the website in bulk with automated tools, or use its content to train or build competing products.
3. Your data on this website
We built this website to collect as little as possible. You can browse it without an account and without filling in anything. On this website:
- there are no tracking or advertising cookies, and the site does not set cookies of its own;
- there is no analytics, advertising pixel or other tracking tool;
- nothing about you is saved in your browser, except a referral code if you arrive through a referral link (see below);
- we do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
That does not mean that no data moves at all, so we want to be exact about what does:
- What you write to us. If you send the contact form or an email, we receive what you type or choose: your name, email address, business name, answers and message. We use it to answer you. The form reaches us through Web3Forms or, if it is not connected, through your own email program, and we keep a record of it in Google Sheets.
- Referrals. If you arrive through a referral link, your browser keeps the referral code and the date for 90 days, and the contact form sends that code with your message. The form also has an optional field where you can tell us who referred you, with a code or a name. We use both only to credit and pay the person who referred you.
- Technical data. To deliver each page, our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time, and Google Fonts receives your IP address and browser information when it serves the typeface. We do not use this data to identify you.
Our privacy policy has the details, including who our providers are, how long we keep information and how to exercise your rights. If this summary and that policy ever seem to differ, the policy prevails.
4. Sample content
This website is also a demonstration of our work. Much of what you see is sample content, and it is marked as such where it appears:
- the real estate, insurance, immigration and product demos, including the businesses, names, prices, quotes and steps shown in them;
- the reviews and testimonials, and the figures and results shown as examples;
- the projects marked as samples or studies in the project list.
Sample content is illustrative. It does not describe real clients, it is not an offer of insurance, real estate, legal or immigration services, and nothing in it is legal, financial or professional advice.
5. Intellectual property
The design, code, text, graphics and logo of this website belong to RightStep Group or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our written consent, beyond what the law allows for personal, non-commercial viewing.
Some photographs belong to third parties and are used under their licenses; their authors are credited in the footer. Names and trademarks of other companies belong to their owners.
6. Inquiries and proposals
Sending the contact form or writing to us does not create a contract or a client relationship. Any work we do is governed by a separate written agreement that sets out its scope, price and conditions.
Timelines and descriptions of services on the website are indicative and may change. They are not a binding offer.
7. Links and third-party services
The website may link to or rely on services run by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
8. No warranties
WE WORK TO KEEP THE WEBSITE ACCURATE AND AVAILABLE, BUT TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE PROVIDE IT AS IT IS AND AS AVAILABLE, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.
This section is about the website itself. It does not change what these terms and the privacy policy say about your data, and any warranty for paid work is whatever the written agreement for that work says.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, RIGHTSTEP GROUP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR THE INABILITY TO USE THIS WEBSITE OR ITS CONTENT, EVEN IF THEY RESULT FROM OUR ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE.
This limit does not cover gross negligence, fraud or intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Nothing in these terms waives your rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act (Business & Commerce Code, Section 17.41 and following) or any other consumer right that the law does not allow you to give up.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about these terms or this website will be heard by the state or federal courts located in the State of Texas, unless the law of your place of residence, or another law that cannot be waived, gives you the right to go to other courts.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to the use of the website after they are published, and they do not apply to a dispute that arose before then. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the website.
